Yellow 9005 high beams

I installed some 65W 2500K yellow 9005 bulbs for a highbeam (and DRL) replacement. I wanted something different than stock but I didn't want to try to match my low beams. I realize that 2500K is on the low-end of the spectrum but I never expected them to be so dim when the high beams are on. I read of others who switched to yellow and they sounded so pleased with the brightness of the yellow high beams. Mine also seem to be pointed so high...all I did was pull the old bulbs out and put the new ones in...it's like I re-aimed them at the moon!

Has anyone else had a bad experience with yellow 9005s for high beams? I don't want to go back to stock or match my lows; I just want to see beyond my lows on all of the country roads I drive on!

I had 9005 Yellow Nokyas for my highbeams and they were great! 2500k is supposed to give you really good visibility and mine definitely did not point at the moon
