Which year model TSX to buy with 25K

Looking to purchase a TSX special edition, with the 6spd manual 2.4L vtec engine. Which year do you recommend. I also wanted to change the grill from the beak one to something more aesthetically pleasing.

What are your opinions?

Makes no difference. When the SE came out, most of the bugs had already been worked out and there are no significant changes between the model years.

Friend just bought a 2010 Tech for 23,100 out the door. 17k miles on the clock which is pretty low to me.

I got my 2011 base about 7 months ago for 25k out the door with 45k miles, yea i couldve got a better deal but couldnt wait any longer

Try and get an 11' or newer. (I think SE is 11' + anyways, in which case it doesn't matter.)
For reference, my 10 was asking price 26k, i got it for 19k with 40k miles.

SE is only 2012/2013/2014 anyways.

I'd just go with whatever you get the best deal on, they're all the same. I'd imagine you can find a 2012 SE with ~25-35K miles in your price range.

Thanks , how about swapping the grill out? any sites where I can find one that is factory but without the beak look? so far online I have not been able to find one. However, on youtube I saw a tsx with a customized MDX grill on it that looked really nice, check out the link:

I got my 2012 Special Edition for $26,700 with 8K miles (certified pre-owned) in November. You could probably get a 2012 Special Edition 6 speed with 10-15K miles for 25K. The problem is finding one I think I remember reading that only 10% of Special Editions are manuals.

There are a few grilles available on ebay. I personally don't mine the beak thing after it's been painted / vinyled black or color matched.

The problem with aftermarket is trying to get something that looks stock - but isn't.

The first video is just too busy with far too many conflicting design elements (skinny bars, thick bar, thicker bar all looking like they area at different angles because of the fairly flat hood.

You might want to try a grill from a Euro Accord but whatever way you go, remember that there are two different versions, pre/post '11.

that video is defconskylude. member here who no longer does anything with his car. he's all about the guns now you won't be able to find another grille like that unless you pay him to make it which someone from europe did i believe.

Look for an '09 with the 6 speed and navi. Expect some bugs.

Truecar.com pricing on left over "new" 2013 SE models is between 28-29 so I think a super low mileage 2012 is well within reach.

2009-2010 are well priced in my area. You can find a technology package model with about 40k miles for around $20k

This grill would be a good option. I would swap out the HONDA for a ACURA though

no and no

first off they marked that up like crazy just cuz it says "JDM" also, you can't replace that with an Acura emblem
