if youre still looking into it, xlr8, price is gonna be a huge factor here, at 250 i think it pretty steep and crosses the line into "probably dont want it anymore".

if you can still hit around 150 thats where all the magic will happen

Josh knows that. It doesn't mean theirs is better. He doesn't know. He's still doing it and the offer still stands. If you're serious about meeting XLR8 for downpipe R&D and receive the final product free. Contact me or him. He's still excited about his product.

He has not even given a price. That talk hasn't even occurred. He can't even find one of you guys to help get the product out there so he can post a price. Once the product is available you can bet he'll post a competitive price. Any company know that if they want to sell any product they need to be at or under the competitions pricing.

Damn, if it were closer to New England i'd drive this weekend, just to see the results. Not sure if it would even pass inspection here in MASS, since we follow CA inspection/emissions laws.

Guess i'll have to wait for it to come to market, if it does.

I understand that Parasurfer has put a lot of effort to get this project up in the air and me joking around was an insult to all of his hard work. And lastly Parasurfer, I just want to clarify that I don't drive in the rain when I dont have to, because I want to avoid unideal conditions where I have less control over my surroundings. This according to you makes me a terrible driver. That's your opinion, I am perfectly fine with that.
I won't have the privileged to enjoy the downpipe, because I plan on keeping my car forever and it wont pass California's strict smog test in the future. Good luck with the development of the downpipe.
We dont know that it wont pass. The cat that is being removed is the one w/o a sensor so that means no check engine lights. You understand that right? You must read the whole thread and the comments about this from Josh at XLR8. Thank for the apologies. Let Josh know if you or you buddy changes your mind. And dude learn how to drive in the rain...lol. I guess you wonder how the rest of America that sees rain on average of twice week does it. . Your car is made to perform well in rain/sleet/snow. If you buy good tires you have nothing to worry about. ha ha ha!!!

Hey bro, I just PM'd parasurfer....... I'll be standing by for a response. If anyone has his number or something they should give him a call. The longer we wait, the more time that is wasted and I think that drive will take me 8 hours.... Give or take roughly 45 minutes.

I'm still very interested and have the money ready NOW for this to happen. I did some checking and on a 2009 honda accord ex 4dr 5spd and 2011 TSX base 6spd(what I have now) share all the same part numbers for the gasket from 1st cat to down pipe, down pipe, converter and converter to exhaust pipe. Now that being said I don't know what type of vehilce was used for the testing for the Accord pipe be it 2008 09 10 11 ex dx lx 2/4dr etc... I'm too lazy to check every freaking year and trim level but from the looks of things it should bolt right up. So who wants to send me one??? PM me!!!

My rough estimate it a total of 18-20hp with these 3 pieces at least. The DP will also help cat back exhaust gain more power.
Where can I find info/buy this freaking intake manifold!?!?!???

Josh told me it has to be during the week when they are open. Still email or call him. Hes expecting to talk to you. As for the accord/TSX the 8th gen 08+ accord does have same manifold. If you know anyone with an 8th gen willing to go to XLR8. Let them know the contact. I'm a popular member on but they lock my threads about this part all because he's not a fucking sponsor of the site. I laid in on them that I don't even work for XLR8 so stop locking my thread or unsuspend my log-in. I've had it with trying to help them. I was helping my former 8th gen accord family while adding a poll over here since the same part fits. They even locked the poll but in 2 days 90 members were interested. After i saw 2 others there offering the part i understand what they were doing. Protecting their sponsor while not giving their members another option. XLR8's DP will be the best DP end the end. Thanks for the support you've given me to get a part made that will help the K24 powered TSX's out there. It'll get made once we find a car near Phoenix or one that will travel down that isn't scared of driving in the rain or anything else that would stop them. Ha Ha!!!

Yeah I looked up part numbers too 18210-TA0-A02 seems to be the same part number for both. Its nice to have options but in case this doesnt ever happen we have the throwdown option.

This will still happen. I'm glad you found the other option to buy. All others supporting XLR8 don't drop out. Once a member can get to Phoenix. It'll happen.

If there is anyone getting the other downpipe and is willing to ship their stock dp to XLR8 so he can make his DP, he'll give you a deal on a part you may want off the site for your TSX. If there is anyone willing to drive to Pheonix or in the area willing to let them use your car for testin during the week then you will get a free Down Pipe which will be free 10+hp thats C.A.R.B. legal . Thanks guys. The XLR8 DP will still be done and will be better than the other pipe now offered so it'll be worth the wait. Thanks guys.

He's planning on it. It would be nice to have a car to dyno tune to post real numbers of the DP after it's done or come down to use your down pipe and you leave with a free quaality DP and 10+hp.

Again he can not. hes doing the work himself at the AZ office. Thanks though. He's got a stock TSX DP getting mailed to him. He'll need someone to install the part once hes done to dyno their stock car to get the gains. I'll keep you guys posted when that time comes.

sorry, didnt know he was in AZ. Just a quick thought though, once the DP is made, wont he have equally as much trouble finding someone to install the part locally since we had trouble getting someone to AZ in the first place?

maybe he can ship out the DP for fitting once its done

He'll send the DP to whome ever will dyno it. Who said they would have to come to AZ. Im working the details with Joshua now but that bridge hasnt been crossed yet until the DP is even made.

Okay he looks at this thread periodically. The stock DP should be shipping to Joshua soon so an XLR8 DP will be soon in the making. Thanks everyone for your support. I dont even own a TSX or work for XLR8 but i felt my old car 08 Accord would have benefited from this part so i posted there first then decided to post here and the support for such a part is great. Patience will win. .
