Excellerate how soon do you guys need a car to test fit on? I live in the bay area, but wouldn't mind the drive for a free pipe. I can stay with my cousin who lives in Phoenix so it'll be convenient. Bad thing is I have school and am not free until probably the first days of March. So if I could do it in March and you could get it done in 2-3 days then that would be awesome.

I can't do anything on DA the mods will shut it down the moment they hear of a company not associate with them. I'm promoting the shit out of it on my8thgen.com where when the part comes out there will be a good amount of people ready to purchase. The tb spacer was released like 5 days ago and I think like 5+ have been bought already.

he mentions on the v6 it creates +15 hp with a series of other upgrades, that website has Ported runners, intake manifold gasket and TB spacer available for the I4. It would be impossible to say how much HP they would produce in tandem without someone doing a before and after Dyno

that would be a lot of work for one brave soul

edit: mentions a 5whp gain on a civic for what im assuming is the TB spacer alone...minimal gain as expected but ~+15 with all parts together would be nice

I have the TB spacer, ported runners, intake manifold gasket and pulleys on order for the I4. Basically every single bolt on mod for the I4 available so far. I plan on doing the before and after dyno's. Well i'll be doing after dyno and have a friend with a stock I4 accord who will do the before dyno. I know you guys have a little more Hp to begin with than us I4 accord guys but it'll still be a nice gauge of what we all have to gain.

you are the hero this forum needs. i look forward to your results. If they are promising i am very confident that us tsx guys will be jumping all over the bolt-ons.

Haha thanks. My goal is to hit 200whp. Considering the stock accords are somewhere around 160 stock it's a long shot but I have a lot of faith in the potential of the K24.

i have a feeling the gains might be small at first and inconsequential alone but with everything coupled together and working in tandem (all the bolt-ons, CAI, and future downpipe) you could definitely get there!

I'm in the bay area, thus i'm trying to drive up to Phoenix for the pipe

So far I have a Weapon-R secret weapon intake, that i'm pretty sure would work on the TSX's as well. TB bypass. Custom dual exhaust with 2.5 inch piping at the Y which added a little bit of low end power.

I plan on doing 55-80 MPH pulls against my friends 1st gen TSX to gauge how close I am. He's running a reflash, jpipe and a few other goodies so he's right around 200WHP which will be a good gauge.

I already raced a strangers stock I4 a few weekends ago on the freeway. Lost for only two reasons, One he had the jump on me since I was going about 70 when i saw him comming from behind at about 80-85, two I'm on probation and can't get any tickets for the next year or my license is suspended so when we where neck and neck at about 110 and I didn't want to push it anymore so he pulled away going about 115-120. It was very neck and neck, I think I could have even won had it been lined up from the getgo.

Don't worry guys I'll keep it safe. And the reason I said i was gonna do a 55-85 mph run with my friend is cuz that way it's within speed limits pretty much and gives a good gauge of power.

He can't have a j-pipe bro. Header maybe??? Is the TSX 6SPD or auto and which are you? What mods do you have as of now. I'm glad i started this thread. Thank you Josh at XLR8 for taking my word on a potential interest for a part like this back when i had my 8th gen accord that i felt you guys could benefit from also. Can't wait to see this baby born and what it will do for the TSX and its cousin Accord. Let the sale come a rolling in... .

Definitely hopping on this when I get the money for my engine/exhaust mods on the Accord.

Also agreeing with Keak that my8thgen.com is a better place to go for more interest. The admin and owner, Chris, also known as godspeed, said he's willing to support any and all companies that are out there to help ths 8th gen Accord community. A lot of parts out for the V6, but definitely plenty of K24s out there that want their share of parts, myself included.

Sorry, I'm currently travelling (thus using phone net which is annoyingly slow!) and I just wanted to know how much HP does the tb spacer bypass add? The tb spacer adds around 5 on Civics right? And an intake is around 12HP? Also to clarify my noobness, the tb spacer is that added red thing in the link yeah? You just add that extra piece in between the bolt it back together?

Yes. But the 5hp was on a stock intake, aftermarket intake will make it more probably. It's a combined effect.

Definitely. It'll make things easier since to do the tb spacer you have to remove the intake. It saves you a lot of work.

another question..with an aftermarket intake, the space is already pretty tight between the tubings and filter to the car, so wouldnt adding the spacer make the intake rub against the car or make some parts not fit?

after some further further researching, i reached the same conclusion. it appears that other people have said that there is no real way to know if both will fit unless you physically try it out.

Another hero is required.

Lol guess I'll be the guy. I have a weapon-r secret weapon intake. I think its the best intake around so if it fits with that then I suggest everyone get that setup.
