Wiper Mode

So I was driving to work this morning and it started to drizzle a little so I turn my wiper on notch. But unlike every other car I driven before it doesn't wipe your windshield every couple seconds but rather constantly. I then tried the next notch and it's the same as the 1st notch. I think it's strange that the TSX wipers doesn't a mode where it would wipe the windshield every couple seconds. Anyone else notice this?

Once you click the level down once to turn on the wipers, turn the little cylinder on the level (like turning on the fogs on the other side). This will change the delay time.

One cool thing I noticed a few days ago, was that if you have it on a setting with no delay in between wipes while driving, they will slow down when you come to a stop.

I didn't know about the knob, I'll look for it and play around with it later on today. Thanks

I realized something about this notch thing too; it's complete and utter crap. all my notches feel like they're going the same speed lmao. it's hard to get a perfect speed.

My notch works great. I don't like having my wipers go crazy so I use the intermittent setting all the time. It helps that I use rain-x too.

Our cars' intermittent setting has a couple of cool "undocumented" features:
-When you're on intermittent, like opboarding said, and you put the delay time to the smallest delay, the wipers are intermittent when you are stopped or driving less than 10 mph (or so). Once you go above that speed, the wipers go on "low". When you come to a stop, they revert back to intermittent.

Any other "delay time" setting will work as a "regular" intermittent.

- However, in all the Intermittent settings, when you are stopped and you release the brake, the wipers will wipe once... Very cool, and undocumented!

actually documented in the easter egg thread we had here some time ago. its a very cool feature to ensure the windshield is clear as soon as you start driving

I always liked easter when I was a kid because when it was over I had a feast of about 20 hard boiled colorful eggs.

Tested this feature out last weekend when it was raining like crazy on and off and everything in between.

I like it!

The High setting for our wipers freak me out.......it's almost too fast that I feel the wipers will just fly off my car one of these days if I use it.
