So I did a Google search and see my tsx wasn't the only one that had problems with the windshield trim... Both of mine fell off, one on a highway the other I took off before it blew off. This was a while back I called the dealer and said they never heard of this im wondering now has anyone had any better luck deadline w the dealers replacing them? Can u even find replacements online if they don't?
There's a TSB for the 2009 TSX about the windshield trims comming off.
Being a little OCD about my car I noticed them right away and took pictures of them and went to the dealer right away mentioning the TSB and they took care of it right away.
Everything was free of charge and took roughly 2 hours to fix.
Part of the trim clip broken
Green tape for a day to get the sealent to dry.
The TSB says to place back the trims in place and apply sealent to fix them back. I had to argue with the service manager at my dealer to get ONE out of TWO replaced. After waiting for 4 hours for a part they said was out of stock to finally have found it in their storage.
^I had this done a few months ago too, and I own a 2013. My local dealership was more than happy to help me out. Although the TSB states that we'd get replacement trims, the guys at the dealership just stuck the existing one back on with new sealant and asked me to leave painters tape on for ~48 hours.
On my 2010, I used "3M/Tube plastic emblem and trim adhesive" (google it) to glue back the trim. The trim's plastic edge is clipped into metal clips embedded within the glass urethane sealant. Often, these areas on the edge are damaged/broke, likely due to the trim being manipulated when we wash the windshield or put our hand on it etc.
If you can/want, you can remove the entire trim, clean everything and apply adhesive, then tape it the way shown here for a couple of days. Alternatively, you could protect the paint and trim with masking tape, try to get some adhesive under the trim and tape it in place.
Never had a problem for 4 years now with the glued trim.

JSUT got back from the dealership. They ordered new ones, no questions asked.
Ditto! It happened to my 2012 Wagon around 29,000 miles or so. It was still under warranty and the dealer in Westchester replaced it -- no charge, no questions asked.

Exact miles and year on mine. Dealership goes "how did you notice it, since the color is so dark"
Told him I have auto OCD, lol.
I am also getting a "creak" from my rear left hatch, can't nail it to where its coming from. They will check it out too.
Otherwise love the wagon
Westchester is a great area. My sister has a local dentist practice there.

We could have identical twins! I also noticed a creak back there and found it to be coming form the passenger seat behind the driver. If someone sat in it, it would creak over certain roads.
Fold down the seat and put a rectangular piece of felt in the latch loop. You might need more than one layer, so experiment. This fixed the creaking except for the heaviest passengers.
Yes, happy to be in Westchester. Also happy with my dealer: Curry Acura.
2011 here. Got mine fixed by the dealership which just meant they put a bunch of goop in there to keep it put.
Then later I get my windshield replaced because of a huge crack and and get BRAND NEW trim pieces and within a month one side is starting to come off again.
My started to loosen so i called the dealership. Next morning it flew off the car. They had to replace since it was mangled but it took 4 days to come in.

Both of my rear has car seats, which has latched to the rear as well.
Will definitely experiment.
Thank you TWIN!!!! Though I don't have Westchester money
