Hey all,

Just out of curiousity, can you look at the driver's side door jam and see what month/year your car was made.

At my local dealer, the latest TSX on the lot was made in 11/08...i could not find any made in 12/08 or later. My TSX (bought 1 week ago) was made in 11/08.

Just post your build date and date of actual purchase of car.

I recently got my car last week (Friday) and the build date on it is 12/11.

 

12/11?? Do you mean 12/08??

 

mines 3/08, it was on the lot for awhile before i got it (its a 6mt).

I can't remember who told me, maybe the salesman that I usually talk to.... but I was told that the cars take about a month to finally make it to a dealer here after its built in Japan.

Quick question, I remember somebody said that issues in earlier models would be resolved for those with later build dates. Any idea if/when this changes took place?

 

Not sure, but my TSX seemingly does not have the hood shake nor the rear deck crackling...at least, not yet.

 

Build 8/08 purchase 2/09...black interior with tan rear speaker tray...so stupid, I thought they fixed that

I ordered the color combo I wanted the first week of May, had to wait for the truck to come in and then for the dealer to do a swap and also at that time there was a delay on sport bumper kit because of a paint defect. It was so hard to wait...

like i said earlier mine is an 03/08 (bought 01/09), but i haven't had any hood shaking problems or package tray problems (knock on wood...). Only problems mine has had were the cover to the cup holders sticking (fixed) and an issue with the seat heater switch (being replaced tomorrow)

I had a loaner car with 12/08 for build date..and that's back in January..newer ones are out there, but looks like there are still some old inventory at the dealer lots.
