Pulled the car out of the garage this morning, MID said 29 deg F

Drove about 15 mins to the train station and when I got there, MID said it was -7 deg F. The engine temp gauge read around normal.

Waited 5 mins for the train and had the heat cranked all the way and I noticed the engine temp gauge was down to about 1/4 of the way up. Normal operating temp, its usually a little bit below 1/2.

Wow, that's pretty cold. We use Celsius up here in Canada, so 0°F = -18°C.

That sounds so nice right now; albeit I'm in Austin right now, mid 40s is pretty chilly to me.
