What gear are you in when you go to sport mode?

What gear are you in when you go to sport mode?
I was curious as to what gear your TSX goes into if you are in "D" and shift down to "S" on the auto tranny. My car immediately goes to 3rd gear. Is this normal? The reason I am asking is because the owners manual says it will go to 4th gear.

I don have the atuo, but if your going like 10mph and throw it into sport mode I doubt its going to go into 4th. Prolly 2nd or something.

It goes from what ever gear you are in "D" down one when in "S".

If in 1 stays in 1.

mine is usually in 3rd, i swtich it around 35-40 mph?

Does your TSX ever shift to 4th in S mode ?
Mine doesnt even going at 70mph+ ann 5000 rpm+. It stays put in 3rd. Dealer claims this is normal for 2009 TSX. The 2010 TSX loaner I drove does shift to fourth.
