Warranty!
Warranty!
So, I have a quick question I wanna get cleared up concerning with the factory warranty! When does the car let you know when you need to take it in? Is there a certain mile you have to reach? I bought the car brand new, and have about 3500 miles on it. What do they usually check up on? Everything? What concerns me the most is what I've done to the car already haha. I have coilovers put on and removed the intake Resentor, would they void my warranty if they see that I've done those things to my car? Im just trying to get things straighten out and understand all of it before that time comes. I don't want to like go paranoid about them voiding my warranty and have to put all the old parts back on before I take the car in haha.
Thanks Guys!!

I can see how a dealer may question you on some things. My suggestion is for you to build a rapport with your service advisor like requesting that person to help you during each visit. Go in and have e few maint done by the dealer. The occasional Starbucks gift card during the Holidays doesn't hurt either. I've had a few things done to my modded Trailblazer SS under warranty that could have easily done sideways because of the tune installed. The've also Goodwilled something after the basic warranty expired where I only had tp pay for the labor. They will help you if they want to. Don't be the warranty mooch that only goes in on warranty issues. When you get the survey, give them a perfect score. I've onced given the survey to my advisor and told him to fill it out and send it in. I've had a window motor go out on me 1 year after the warranty expired and they took care of it 100%.

They will definitely question you, especially if warranty issues are related to suspension/driving.
Even if you go in for electrical problems that has nothing to do with the aforementioned, they'll give you the stink eye. Like the poster above me said, it doesn't hurt to establish a relationship with a certain employee (ok that didn't come off right.) In that case, they will help you and let you bypass some things that might not other wise be done by a regular employee.

Gee, should I close the barn door now that I've let all the horses out?
Isn't it a little late to ask that question?
Your coilovers may give you issues with any Drivetrain related issues while your Intake may cause you issues when you complain about any engine related issues.
A good relationship with the folks at the dealership goes a long way but the time to build that is before you've modded your car.
It might have also helped had you spent five minutes researching your car before you bought it and modded it - you would have learned, for example, that the first service is required between 5 and 7k miles depending on your driving style.
Be mentally and financially prepared to pay for the things your mods break - or what the dealer says your mods broke. In order to prevail with the dealership you'll need lots of expertise that requires an intimate understanding of the car. You need to start learning now.

Thanks for the answers guys. So, would I be able to leave my parts on the car With out the voiding anything? Cause I put it all on myself. With the help my friends at his shop. So taking it off would just be the hard parts. I know my way around the car already.

You guys are making me think twice of modding my car, lol. Guess I'll just wait until my warranty is up next year. I thought oil changes and transmission flushes were included in the factory warranty.... but I guess I was wrong? Lol
Why would you think that oil changes (or tranny fluid) were included? Toyota is the only Japanese manufacturer that includes any sort of service, and with 2yr or 24k miles, that works out to three oil changes and zero tranny fluid changes.
Do what you like, just don't come back crying when the dealer determines that the cause of a fault was your mod (even if you've removed it) and denies warranty repairs on that failure.
