VLED V2 Switchback LED Turn Signals

Hey guys, just installed my VLED V2 Switchback LED 6K Turn Signals. Got it in this afternoon. I initially ordered the VLED V1 Switchback where when you activate the turn signal, it switches between amber and white. I thought they were kind of ricey in my opinion.

Anyways, install was pretty straight forward. You have to take off the bumper and take out the headlight. I ordered LED Resistors just in case. At first, when I first installed it, it was hyper-blinking but after about 10 minutes, I guess the car's computer recognized it and it went back to normal. Our Car's ECU is really smart!

Anyways here are some videos and some pictures. I apologize but these are just Point and shoot pictures and videos. I had finals all week and still do, so this was sort of a break from all the studying. Graduating next week! w00t!

Enjoy

And now onto the videos...

Wait, did you install the resistors? When you say you think the computer adjusted for the LEDs after 10 minutes, is that without any resistors?

Yea there's like an one second lag when it switches back to white, its just how the LED is, no biggie. Thanks man, yeah more school for me.

I didn't install the resistors, I bought them just in case. And yes, the computer basically adjusted for the LEDs without any resistors.

Yes my Fogs are 3K HIDs. Tail lights are stock. My reverse bulbs are just Nokya Artic White bulbs. I haven't changed the back to LEDs yet.

buy a heat gun, metal spatulas, silicone glue from honda/acura dealer

get another friend to help you pry it SLOWLY

if you dont use a heat gun, then you can bake it for 8-10 minutes to melt the glue.

These same bulbs come in all amber, as in, amber all the time and not white?

You planning on doing LEDs in the taillights?

Under the website, its under Amber LEDs but Its not amber all the time. When I have my head lights on, they are white until I turn on my turn signals, then it switches to amber.

Yup eventually considering a LED tail light swap.

Thanks! I got them for $79.99 from v-leds.com. The LED bulb code for our turn signals fall under 1157 bulbs. They have a smaller one half the size for $54.99.

Wow, that sounds like way too much work, and I suck at working on cars.

As of right now, nothing really planned. I was thinking of these

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/B...72892-1-2.html

but I think they are kinda ricey IMO, plus eyeballing it, it doesn't look like it can fit.

probably considering these too, looks more normal and refined

They have all amber ones that don't switch, I just looked.

Wonder how well these would work:

Thanks! well when you turn on your head lights, your parking lights automatically turn on. All I did was just replaced the OEM bulbs with LED ones. Indicators are the same as the parking lights

I'm not sure if you can because isn't the turn signal separate from the parking lights. Like the turn signals is one the circles? You can do the JDM headlights though

Very nice! The bulb is a bit too bright for me though. I like how the switchback works but i'll probably end up purchasing the $54.99 (60 LED) one. The light reflected from the headlamp is almost as bright as your lowbeams since you have no defuser there in the corner

the 1 second delay from signal to parking light reminds of the l.e.d's on the new Audi's. my ex's did the same thing.
