Alright so it has been 2.5 year since I have owned the car and I still love it, but I DESPISE the ugly chrome trim. I tried plastidip and was almost successful except around the back passenger windows with cutting and peeling the excess off.

I went to a shop and they wanted 500+ for a vinyl wrap so I decided to buy the necessary material to do so (wrap, squeegee, cutter tool, heat gun).

Question, has anyone attempted and successfully vinyl wrap their chrome trim and even door handles? I am studying youtube and reddit videos and have a good idea on how to approach it.

Any tips please let me know. Yes the chrome trim pisses me off that bad and it must go.

I purchased a set of used door handles to have them painted. Heeltoe offers carbon handles if you are interested.
