V6 or not?

yes 60/40, and the i4 is 57/43, or close to it, big deal. i take my v6 around corners just to see what it can do, i dont drive that way often. often took out the cones from my work van and it handled fine around those. it could use some better tires. as far as the 5k upgrade, that is sticker price, i got mine for 32k because i walked out on the dealer. its all about how u deal to get the right price.
When my lease is up in May, as a replacement for my 6 speed base model, I see a black on black 6 speed with tech in my future.

As Ive test driven both, Ive found the I4's feeling of "tossability" is enhanced by the fact the electronic steering is so sensitive. The V6 feels a lot more weighted and more comparable to hydraulic steering so the feeling of being able to 'toss' around the car wasn't there. But I can definitely attack corners hard and zip in and about traffic very easily, albeit with more movement on the steering wheel.
But while OP has made up his mind, if anyone else is buying...you should just test drive both to your satisfaction. I just could no go back into the I4 after piloting the V6.

I just test drove the V6 immediately followed by the I4 this past Saturday. Honestly, I thought I was sold on the V6 because of the amount of sheer power it had before I even drove the thing, but I found the V6 to feel more 'luxurious' than I really wanted the car to be because of how relatively quiet the car is versus the I4! Something about a high-revving 4 banger is music to my ears since I'm coming from a Civic. 
Also, the V6 did feel heavier than the I4, so I felt that the I4 was going to be a better vehicle for the way that I like to drive. I decided to go for a 2011 TSX with Tech (black on black) and I love it! No regrets!

The V6 TSX sticks you with something like a 60/40 front to rear weight bias - which is a handling disaster. The $5k premium for it is also a tough sell IMHO. When Car & Driver reviewed the V6 TSX, their conclusion was you're better off with the 6 speed 4 cyl. Pair the 4 cyl with the sweet 6 speed manual and you'll have plenty of performance - as quick as sub 7 seconds 0-60. The manual and auto 4 cyl are two totally different cars - the difference is that dramatic. The V6 is much quicker than both, but not enough quicker to justify the $5k extra.

I miss the power from my 05 RL but I dont miss the gas pump. Even with its SH-AWD and 290 HP 3.5 V6 I'd say my 201 HP 4Cyl TSX is way more fun to drive and at the end of the day thats what I want. A fun to drive car with a clutch and proper hand brake.
