V6 Foglight Covers

Came up with this idea at work today

Since the V6 Foglight covers are functional ie. let air through(or so I've heard) can't us I4 guys install them thus increasing airflow to intake. I'm thinking this would affect the guys running CAI the most since the Intake is right there behind the foglight. This would go well with HondoGermany's DIY less air restrictor thread that was just posted

The mostly knowledgeable and somewhat idiotic KillerG (Love you bro ) has told me that these foglights are only $30 for a pair. So seems doable.

Didnt know where to post this, it was half performance half appearance LOL

<3 i gotta double check the part number with someone masterful in the art of part finding (looking at you 09tsxtech)

seems like this would be an easy and smart mod, the only thing im thinking is that it lets more moisture in to our fog light area, and i wonder if the v6 owners have any extra protection for their fog light wiring from the elements or its exactly the same

any v6 users taking off their bumper anytime soon?

^ the only thing i noticed is that the connectors for the fogs are the same insulated type found in hid kits if that makes sence

He will drop knowledge like a professor droping a 600 page textbook on nuclear physics, on the face of a poor undergrad half asleep in his lecture

i found the correct exact piece since this thread either flew under 09techs radar or he doesnt like you mr. NC

71107-TL0-G80
GRILLE, FR. BUMPER (LOWER)
cost: $67.31

its actually one giant unit which replaces the center grill and both side winglets. I would consider it a worthy purchase if anyone cracks their lower stock grill

convert SRI to CAI for maximum awesomeness. This makes sense with downpipe and ported runners and intake. Adds to the whole easy breathing mantra
