I read my laws in LA and they say: "Turn signals may be any shade between amber and white" so I asked a police man about it and he says "So technically, it's not illegal for white turn signals"

I would look up your local laws if I were you.

I'm in LA county. So I could get white turn signals?
Could you post where you read it?

LA is in Louisiana buddy. Read it in my info under my picture. I'm not sure where I can find it again though, I had to dig pretty deep at my school's computers because they have access to archives and stuff

Yeah i think big one was out of stock. I got the 60led and looks pretty bright at night. Not sure how bright u want it to be during the day.

Rear white turns are pretty hard to see in the daytime with the sun overhead. I have polarg white bulbs in my rears and unless you're looking directly at the housing to see if its blinking, you really can't tell. Whenever I drive in the daytime I make sure I'm signaling long before I change lanes or turn just in case. But the upside is at night the whites look super bright and its a definite contrast to your average amber bulb. Had it for a couple months and no issues so far. I've turned and had emergency blinkers on in front of cops and they never did anything.

hk55874, did you need resistors for your switchbacks or did your ecu automatically detect and adjust for it?

LED's aren't gonna be bright as stock, unless u get the big VLEDS. I have ijdm switchbacks, and they look great at night. During the day, however, they are not that amazing, but they do get the job gone. Did u install resistors too?

My turn signals hyper-flash right now, I have to stop procrastinating and get out there to install some resistors for them!

hey pb^ use a wire stripper to check the guage of wire that that the resistor uses and then pick up the appropriate sized taps at your local wireshack

they usually come in 14-18 (blue) and 18-22 (red)
