UR pulleys and Alternator problems

sooo...last weekend i go to nh and i get a message on my car saying "check charging system". I look at the battery terminal and it needs replacing. I replace the terminal after jumping the car and the car is fine for the entire week until the other day im idleing for 20 minutes with ac on in a parking lot and i get the message again. Bring it to Acura and they say the alternator isnt putting out enough power. Im really confused as to how the car ran fine all week and then suddenly did it again. To me it seems like the battery has a dead cell. Anyone else experience this issue with the UR pulleys?

i have the ur pulleys on my 05 and havent had that message. it could be your battery or it could be ur alt. it mite have a lose connection somewhere but you can always put you stock alt pulley back on and see if that changes anything. if not then you might have a short but thats not likley.

If I put the stock one back on I'd need to change the belt and everything else because it's the rerouting of the serpentine that is causing the issue
