Your car looks black, but it's hard to tell in the picture. If it's graphite I have two extra ones that have broken clips. You'd have to epoxy/silicone them down instead of clipping in. The paint is still good on them.

I think the guy said who replaced my windshield that they were like $170/pair because they're painted.

Off highway 6 and bellaire neighborhood is kinda ghetto 😕 drove around because I can only imagine that the trim will fit on another 2g tsx but only found 1g and tons of 3G TL

I can always paint to match just worried about the clips missing and how sturdy it would be. So $170 is how much you would be willing to let them go for?

I don't have much use for them right now unless mine happen to break off somehow. Since most of the clips are broken they would basically need to be permanently attached to the car with epoxy or another adhesive. It would cost at least $100 to get them paint matched and look correct nice by a paint shop. I would sell them for like $20 because the clips are broken. The $170 amount is how much the dealer would charge you for new set. Have you talked to your insurance about this yet? I could send them home with my parents this weekend and you can pick them up in west Houston (10 min away from where you said you were).

When I was working for Acura, there was either a recall or TSB on those windshield trims and roof trims becoming loose and flying off while driving. Judging by your photos, I do not see the black epoxy used for the procedure. It is very likely that your trim flew off while driving. Most likely came off while it was raining (judging the windshield being dirty) and you didn't notice it. Either way, the dealership have these and are already painted. Call the dealership and see if this was performed. If not take it in and get it done for free.

I had mine changed out a few months ago. I printed the TSB and took it to the dealer and even though my VIN wasn't matching what the paper said, I told them I still had that problem and the service guy went to look at it. Said Acura would change them free of charge. Turns out my windshield was replaced by the previous owner and that's why the trim was coming off, but they were still cool and did it for free.

I thought the same thing who steals trim? it is possible that they may have fallen off because my driver side was loose and sticking out but only the driver side not passenger and its kinda hard to not notice the trim sticking out every time you get in the car especially since it always bothered me personally but they also went missing overnight at the same time my roof and decklid spoiler went missing so that's why i think they were stolen, so do yall think the dealer will replace even if i dont have the originals??

You might as well ask the dealership. There is a tsb out there for them coming undone. If they flew off from the clips breaking during normal use they might honor that and replace them. When mine starting coming undone it made an awful rattling sound on the freeway, I thought they might come off.

This sounds pretty plausible...because who steals trim?

However, given the TSB, it can't hurt to discuss this with your dealer.

Either way, might as well put the TSB to use and get new ones. Especially since one was already coming off.
