Which Type of Gorilla Wheel Locks for 2013 TSX

Hey everyone,

My first time getting wheel locks and I was looking at Gorilla Wheel Locks but I am extremely confused.

I looked in my manual and I didn't find the specs that I needed that I felt I can use to purchase the Gorilla Wheel Locks.

Does anyone have experience with the purchase of Gorilla Wheel Locks and which one should I get?

TIA!

Just an FYI. The OEM wheels are not an ACORN seat design. They look similar to an acorn but more rounded on the tapered edge while the acorn is more flat. The acorn will work but the contact area will be at the top of the tapered edge.

OEM part number
08W42-S6M-201

Yeah if you plan to put them on OEM wheels, the lug nuts will not sit flush and could be dangerous. I suggest purchasing aftermarket wheels and then buying the gorilla lug nuts.

But for OEM wheels, you should be able to get them from the dealership. There may be other sources for that, but that's all i know of.

OEM wheels, unfortunately you cant get the guard locks. we do NOT have a taper acorn seat, its a rounded honda seat. I've made that mistake in the past. If you look on amazon you can find the honda-specific gorilla nuts, those sit deeper in the hole than the stock nuts and fit the seat properly.

Thank you for clarifying that. I guess I should just get some OEM locks then. I was about to make the purchase soon.

Thanks. I'm thinking about getting some aftermarket wheels, but not at this moment. I have to do some more research on that. Yes, safety is key. However, I'd definitely feel safer I have some wheel locks as I park in an open lot at work.

It looks like I'll have to hold off on getting the gorilla guard locks until I get some new wheels.

Would something like the below be a more accurate fit for OEM wheels? Sorry...please bear with me as I'm trying to learn all these new things.

My friend claims it's technically safe to only have 4 lugs on a 5 stud car (Cause older cars only have 4 to begin with) so if you go by his logic getting acorn locks won't hurt lol

Nah. Those are additional upgrades. Figured it would be cheaper to buy them on my own instead of paying higher price for the locks to be "free"
