TSX Wagon Pricing

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on the Acura boards. I currently own a 2006 BMW 330i and I recently crossed the 100K miles on my car. I've had my fun (and frustrations) with the bimmer, but I think it's time to look at something a little more reliable. I test drove the TSX Wagon, and while it doesn't drive quite like the BMW, it's a nice ride, and I love the practicality of a wagon.

I've discussed pricing with a few dealers here in the Los Angeles area, and the best price I've gotten so far is about $900 off MSRP. My negotiations to this point have taken place mostly over the internet and the phone, so I imagine I can do at least a little better if I walk into the dealership with my checkbook in hand.

I haven't seen too many posts on the Wagon recently, so I just wanted to see if anyone has been in the market for a Wagon and can discuss the pricing they've seen or gotten. Any data points would be greatly helpful. Thanks!

I paid msrp + tax and licensing for my TSX Wagon with Tech. Basically, due to the Tsunami in Japan, and stop in production, the TSX Wagon which was already a limited run, is even more rare/scarce. Therefore Dealers are unwilling to budge much off of MSRP (mostly to keep some cars on the lot, and because of demand).

If you can wait, maybe wait for the 2012's to start rolling out... But if you like the car, take it...

We only have one dealership in Honolulu, so it's not like I can compare costs, or get a competative pricing from a different dealer.

So far... I'm really happy with my Wagon... and I got .9% financing on it, so in terms of financing I ended up saving quite a bit...

Good luck...

I paid $34,000 + tax/tags (and in Virginia the damn "processing fee" - a total bullshit charge the law permits them to charge which is pure profit) for my wagon w/ tech package.
I'm starting to see more inventory and the rate is back to 0.9%. I haven't found anything I don't like about this car. It's fun to drive, has plenty of room, has the wagon versatility and it's NOT an SUV!

This is a little out of context now. We found a base wagon in April at invoice + $200 plus LA County taxes, also got the 0.9 financing available at the time. Pricing was was through the Costco auto program; if you're a member, it's worth checking out.

Really enjoying the wagon, even if it's technically the wife's car.

Thanks everyone. Good to see people are enjoying their wagons. I seem to be fortunate to have many dealers in LA, but they are still somewhat difficult to find. It looks like the prices I'm being quoted are not unreasonable, but I think I may try to knock it down a little more before I buy.

I think the best I got on a lease for a wagon was 460 a month for 36 mo, 0 down, including taxes and stuff
