Any way to make steering lighter?

I have a 2010 tsx and find the steering too heavy at parking lot speeds. Is there a way to adjust the steering stiffness?

make sure that you haven't driven for a atleast a day to ensure the tires are cold. i prefer my PSI in the front tires to be about 41 cold. and 28 cold in the back excellent for frictionless traction

bring your car in to the dealership to make sure your electric assist steering is working properly...the steering is actually quite light during parking lot speeds..

My RL is a one finger car... barely any pressure will move the steering wheel.

The TSX is more sporty. It responds quickly to turns, but you need a full hand on the wheel.

yea ignore my BS comment, i think you just havent driven alot of actual cars yet. try a pre 2010 BMW, and tell me how light the acura steering is compared to that haha. the 2010 tsx is also ALOT lighter than the 08. i know because my dad broke his left arm, and i gave him my car to drive because he can't really drive and turn on the 08 with just his righht hand. relatively though, the steering should be fairly light, yet responsive. mercedes has insanely light wheels

I agree. I came from an S-class, and found the steering to be annoying at times because of the lightness.

But, you will get used to the TSX steering.

I actually feel that the steering is very light compared to my 2005 Accord. Now when I drive the Accord it feels like I'm lifting weights.

Define 'heavy'. Ever driven a 2007/2008 TL Type S? I'd say that is a little too heavy in the parking lot for most folks. I think the TSX is just fine.

Well i find I need to use two handed underhand grip often for leverage. It gets kinda taxing.

I justed wanted to know if there was a way the dealer can dial in the steering settings electronically or if its factory set.

The power steering on these cars is electric, I *think* there was a TSB on the older ones to make the steering higher effort, wasn't there? Ask your dealer if there's anything they can do.

The effort on mine is very light.

I rarely use two hands to steer the wheel. I find it to be pretty darn responsive and light to the touch with just one hand. Obviously my other hand is occupied...
