TSX V6 Owners - Transmission Question
Do any of you V6 owners feel a slight vibration while driving when the torque converter locks up around 40-45 MPH?
My car experienced rpm fluctuations while driving at that speed, due to a bad converter. Acura has since replaced the converter under warranty, the rpm fluctuation is gone but still feel a slight vibration when it locks up in the 1200-1400 rpm range.

Yes... I believe it's due when the torque converter is in "partial lock-up" mode.
In my case, I the vibration at specific RPM disappears almost completely upon transmission oil change, and then re-appears within about 6 months. I resorted to changing the tranny fluid every year or so (with DW-1). (Note: there was no difference in performance when I did a 3x3 transmission oil change a couple of years back).
The TL had a similar issue and a PCM update was pushed to modify the lock-up logic. Sadly, our car did not get an update (probably due to the low volumes and not too many people complaining).
I'd like to hear from others in here about this issue, and whether there is a new PCM update available (I don't visit my dealer often!)

Your correct, had my dealer run a check for a PCM upgrade, there is none available for this car. I performed the 3 x 3 change with DW1, then had the converter replaced 500 miles later due to the rpm fluctuation so the fluid is all new. Too bad Acura dropped the ball, if the torque converter lockup would stay above 1500 rpm the car would feel much better.
Hope a few other V6 owners chime in here, thanks!

Burning Brakes
No vibrations in my car but I drive the radio on 95% of the time.

Had my 2010 V6 Tech 16 months. Never noticed any powertrain vibrations...however roads in Winnipeg are so bad it would be hard to distinguish trans vibration from all the other vibrations.

Not only the V6. Both of my wagons had/have a vibration at 1300 - 1500 rpm under load.
