I did a 190 mile trip through backroads and a mountain pass yesterday. Average speed of 58 mph.

Working for Acura I am trained to let you know only to use the premium fuel 93 octane. I stress using it for a few reasons: 1. What are you really saving a tank $1.70 maybe!!! 2. Spark Knock noise sucks!!! 3. Because I visit with Acura Engineers that reassure me it will consume it faster at a lower octane level defeating the purpose of saving money in the first place. It's an Acura be kind to it...give it what it calls for :-)

I have been running regular 87 octane for two years straight now / 22,000 miles with no pinging. I also average 28 - 30mpg on average.
