but 138 is the speed limiter.. I've had vsa off and drove 138 for nearly 30 seconds and not progressed past that point.. so how did you get 145? going down a hill?

could be rim/tire difference. i once drove 120mph @5500rpm. lighter rim and tire with lower AA rating will produce higher speeds. and Auto or manual could have different limitors. C&D didnot broke 134mph on OEM.

Luchin is right about the Jeckyll/Hide issue.. Since I´m living in Germany my Car is not a 2nd gen TSX, but a Euro Accord 4 cylinder, which is basically a TSX apart from a different grille, no AcuraLink and a stiffer suspension. Since we don´t have the 3.5 over here, I settled for the 2.4 AT. Anyhow - my accord does roundabout 155 mph according to my gps- I don´t call that slow. In "cruising mode" there´s hardly any punch, it is more or less like a dentist´s drill. My previous car (VV Golf V, 170 hp Diesel) with 350 nm torque is a sledgehammer! Sorry about my bad English.

Luchin is right about about the Jekyll/Hide nature of recent honda.
Compared to my previous car ( VW Golf Diesel, 170 hp with 350 nm Torque) my TSX´s engine ( actually, it´s a Euro Accord since I´m a German!) is more or less a dentist´s drill.
It has got almost no punch, it´s a smooth large car ( yes - folks, that´s large in Germany) but if definetely lacks torque!

It does 250 km/h - or if you prefer 155 mph - w/o any hassle.

Sorry about my bad English!

It is a bit optimistic to say it does 250 kmh without any hassle.

The official construction speed is 235 kmh. I am not saying that 250 is unreal, it is, with a good wind or downhill, but it is not "normal".

Today I hit 235 kmh and it seemed it was at the power-end.

And don't forget, that 235 speedo is not 235 real.. Sadly I did not looked at the GPS what is the real speed, but 250 kmh real could be about 265 kmh speedo in the TSX...

How come our speedometer shows 0-160mph when our limit is 140? Oh, and the fastest I've ever driven my tsx was 120 at night on I-5 going to LA with no one around for about 10 seconds.
