tsx hybrid.... when?
I'm helping my brother buy a tsx. There are currently some nasty good deals on '10 tsx, however I really like the 11 tsx vga navi screen so much better. He's deciding on the i4, but when is the rumored tsx hybrid supposed to magically appear?

dont count on it, itll be a while, most likely not till the next gen tsx since i doubt acura will work it in to the current gen, although i could be dead wrong, itll most likely occur this way as a cost cutting measure
i think the '11 is fantastic because the new navi is a hell of a selling point. The only reason to buy the 09/10 would be a better price and the looks. Personally id love the navi but in a side by side shot you can see that the 09/10 has a much more beefy look than the 11 which had its curves smoothed out and ended up looking more feminine as a result.

I woudl prefer they bring the Diesel engine to the states, GF is looking at a TSX and I keep hoping they'll drop the Diesel in. Honda is so far behind in the Hybrid market it is a joke, they might as well leverage the Diesel they have for now.

The sub-TSX sedan due in about 12 months is supposed to be available in gas and hybrid trims.

They showed dealers a sedan, but it doesn't mean that they're not working on a coupe but didn't show it.

im still waiting for a tsx that can run on happiness and smiles. it keeps running on happiness, and i'll be happy as hell =D
nah but really i dont see a point for the tsx to come hybrid, mpg is good enough. i vote for a diesel, hopefully give it a tiny bit more power with the efficiency

LOL, nobody has sat in or driven the new Civic, so I don't know how we're judging it as a downgrade. Besides, Acura's most successful car was based on the Civic, it just has to have unique sheetmetal ala Integra. (and be priced accordingly)

I dont think urea injection for 4cylinder diesel is required. VW Jetta/Golf is without it and is for sale in California.
2012 Euro Accord is among lowest emission in 2.2 category nearly identical to VW 2.0TDI.
That diesel even without MMC is so good that EuroAccord surpass even Prius that is considered fuel economy icon as 22% of rating is for lower maintiance cost. There is no way VW 4cylinder diesel engine can match it

There is excellent reviews of owners and these Pre-MMC model.

For such a big car, with a 2.2L engine, the MPG was a pleasant surprise with 46mpg on a run at 70mph (set on the cruise control). At 80mph (where legal) it dips to 41 and 85-90 is around 38. Whilst these are by no means outstanding, they are quite adequate for me
