Traded in the TSX for a TL SH-AWD!

So I traded in my A/T TSX (Bade model) for a 3.7 SH-AWD 2010 TL/ Tech. So far very happy with the purchase (so far). 42k miles and purchased for $22k! I thought it was a very reasonable deal coming from a dealer. A main reason I made the switch due to the 6 spd M/T on the SH-AWD model. I had been looking for a TSX M/T for a while but had no luck.

A main consideration factor was the dollar amount needed to get up to the 300+ hp range with the TSX could be mitigated by the reasonable price on the TL-AWD. I've always loved the 4-banger setup and will probably go back to it eventually but the power and beast-mode the SH-AWD has it awesome. Also, I did my research and noted that tuning is not, and will probably not be a future option due to low 4G TL sales.

On a side note, I installed my CTE icebox last Saturday on the TSX(brand new) and took it off the following Monday night before trading in the TSX. Look for it in the Black Market soon! (I'm waiting to get off my noobie user status before I sell so I can recieve PM's). I'll be asking $400 shipped for the slightly used (~30 miles MAYBE) icebox.

So I bid my adieu, and will be keeping tabs on UTAHs sick turbo build.

I'll also add some pics of the new guy once I get it tinted. It looks naked without a nice tint job. I plan to do 20% llumar film all around (neighbor gets a good discount and I can get everything done for under $300!)

It is! I wasn't going to swap cars without the 6 spd M/T. When I bought the TSX, I thought "Hey, it's got paddle shifters, maybe that can make me happy". I had never been so wrong..

I can't PM yet. I think I got 1-2 days left on noob status. If you want to text me at 614-562-seven-two-seven-five you can. Otherwise wait a few days.

It is a blast to drive. Still getting used to the 6spd. I've always had 5 spds. It odd the type of habits you have with a 5spd that don't carry over. Like downshifting to 5th gear on the highway and the brief amount of time spent in 3rd gear is foreign to me.

I went from a 5 speed dodge ram to a 2006 TL 6MT.
worlds of different!

be careful not to mis-shift into 2nd from 4th. that will over-rev the engine!

Hah. I've noticed this in turns already. 2nd is a higher ratio with the 6 spd and I gotta keep the clutch in until my speed is reduced more.

You'll need a TL AWD to drive around when the turbo needs a rest. It's a good choice. Come to the dark side...

Thanks! Yea, from what I understand the 6spd TL SH-AWD are not easy to come by.

Nice! I'm hoping for a tuning solution for the TL 4G in the near future. But not too soon... I know Ill drop the coin instantly when it comes out so I need some time to gather the coin.

On a side note: The CTE CAI is up in the Black market if anyone is interested. ~ 30 miles or so with it. 1 test drive and to and from work 1 time before I took it off to get the TL
