TPMS Warning Indicator Tip For All

Hey all, if your 09 TSX starts giving you message "TPMS system not working", you dont have to waste your time going to or calling the dealership. just put more air in your tires. that's what service told me today.

since it got cold, the TPMS indicator has been giving me the low pressure warning. I just added a few lbs to get it above 30psi and all is good now.

I would have assumed this to be common sense.

33 psi is the recommended cold tire pressure for all 4 wheels.

One would think so,but there are far too many people out there that cannot read an owners manual.

For 18" Acura recommend 38 FF and 35 RR. Pretty high for normal driving. I put usually 35/35.

That seems high to me, too. Usually I adjust the pressure +2psi for every inch in increased wheel diameter over stock size. The increased pressure above that formula affords a higher load rating with 38psi, but I bet it rides like a damn rock.
