TPMS question for new wheels

I apologize if this has been discussed but I can't seem to find it.

I just purchased some Avant Garde M368s for my '09 CU2. Can I use my OW TPMS or can I only use dif valve stems? If I can, what is the reset procedure (if any) and if no then how can I clear the light?

Thanks in advance

What's "OW"? The TPMS is attached to the valve stem. You can buy new new ones or you can reuse the ones from your current wheels. The system will recognize the new sensors after driving a few minutes.

And yes, this has been discussed 342568987453 times and a simple forum search for TPMS would have given results.

if you reuse the ones from your current wheels, you'll just need new washers when you put them in the wheels. if using old ones, no reset procedure. just swap them in, put on the wheels and drive.

if using newly bought ones, it should register after a couple miles of driving or less. mine recognized the new ones after a minute of starting up the car. ymmv on that though.
