Tips on removing all plastic pieces for headliner replacement

Im going to be replacing my headliner with black suede and i was going to plasti dip all plastic pieces (all for handles, visor clips, sunroof handle and the top portion were the map lights are) does anyone know how i can remove those plastic pieces where the map lights are and the button for the garage?...

I really wanted to wrap the plastic pieces in carbon fiber instead of plasti dipping them but im not sure how it would work around the handles because of the shape...

Any advice would be great.

I can't imagine having to hold them each time and feel the plastidip. Might I suggest paint or finding black pieces? Black suede should look though but the plastic pieces I'm wary of...

In to see final product! I have the black interior with mismatched headliner. Annoys me too.

Also, double check using plastidip for high touch areas. Not sure how well that'll hold up.

I used 3m di noc CF wrap when I first did the interior trim pieces. Heat gun, patience, and another set of hands will be your best friend. It'll form to curves if done right, just gotta not blow your top off.

buy the black handles from the SE

how? go to delray or one of the cheap internet stealers. do a look up for a 2012 SE.
find the handles in slate gray. IIRC they are cheap.

you will NEVER get the handle covered correctly with vinyl. then vunyl the other stuff.

I MIGHT also buy a BLACK light base it was very cheap too. same with sun visor mount and clip.

yeah.. take off the clear plastic covers for the lights, take out the lights. there are 2 screws back there.
Then, open your sunglasses holder and there are 2 screws up there

Then the whole thing pops out.
