Tilting side view mirrors

Okay, so when I go in reverse my right side view mirror tilts down, but when the button is set to left it doesn't tilt down. My buddy who has a TL told me either or should go down, did they just change it for the tsx or is one of mine broken =/

Manual states the right mirror will tilt when adjustment switch is set to the right. If button is set to the left or neutral, the mirror will not tilt. I'm not finding that tilt feature all that useful in a smaller car like ours - an MDX yes, but I can see fine with the mirror in normal position on the TSX.

The tilt feature is intended to allow you to see the curb. The size of the car has nothing to do with that.

I find the driver's side tilt to be annoying. The right side shows the curb but what does the driver's side show other than pavement. No tilt allows you to watch upcoming traffic when negotiating into a parking space.

The driver's side allows you to see the curb when parking on left side on one way streets. Very useful in places like Manhattan.

i like the feature.
first time it did it, i thought there was something wrong with my car so i hit the brake and re-adjusted the mirror only to have it tilt right back. lol. took me a min to figure out it does it on purpse.

i much prefer a back up cam but neither are really NEEDED imo.

ive parked cars with much worse visibility and less features.

The driver's side mirror needs an auto dimming feature. It's a big mirror and getting blinded at night by ugly ass SUVs is no fun. Most all cars (at least the ones I've owned) have this feature. Kind of a cheap move on Honda's part, imho.
