Thinking of going from a TL to a TSX

Ok guys I need help with the fact that my wife thinks her 2010 TL SH-AWD is too big a car. I absolutely love the car, but it's not mine.
Was think of going to a TSX with a V6 & Tech Package. Is everyone happy with their TSX and how is the reliability of these cars?
Thanks in advance for any advise you can give.

i have the base TSX i4, I absolutely love it! if she doesn't mind not having the same cargo space as the TL, then it'll be a good option for her.

I also thought the new TL was too big. The new TSX is even a little big for my taste. 1st gen was about right size-wise.

When cross-shopping the two, I also found the TSX had a much easier trunk to access. Even though the TL has more cubic feet, the V-shape of the opening and clearance height makes it difficult to load and unload stuff. Also, the TSX has a fold-down seat while the TL only has a pass-through and the TSX was much more fun handling-wise (compared to a non-SHAWD).

Reliability has been great so far. Only had the pinging and brake TSB's performed on my 09.

TSX V6 would be a good option, but you may lose quite a bit on the 2010 TL on depreciation. If you can find a used V6, that would cushion the blow. There are a lot more I4 model available if power is not a major requirement.

Ya that's what I thought as well. That is why I figured I would still stick with the Acura brand. Less of a hit.

I think you should just keep the TL! It's a great car and you would definitely take a hit on the depreciation if you sold it.

...or if you want to, we could do a trade

Accord coupe is still a pretty big car, all things considered. Sometimes when you look at it from certain angles... looks like a boat!

I would take her TL, but I drive a 97' 4Runner with only 149,000 miles and I just love that truck. And I really like having an SUV for family trips.

Did she test drive the TL before you bought it. I had a 2010 TL as a loaner car. I prefer my 06 tsx but then I rather have manual transmission vehicles. My husband and I own 3 vehicles that are MT. I picked out the tsx since I am the main driver.

TSX is not much smaller. If I was you Id make her keep it but if she really wants it gone then look at the IS250/3series or maybe A4. TSX is bigger than just about every entry level lux vehicle.

That's my daughters car now which used to be my wife's car. We figured instead of buying a used car that would be just as old as the Max we would give my 18 year old daughter the Max and buy my wife a new car.

Ya she really misses the Max!

Why didn't she buy the new 7th gen Maxima instead of the TL?
