Thinking about a TL

I love my 2010 TSX but I want something a little bigger. I love my wifes TL so Im considering a TL SHAWD advance.

If I pull the trigger I will miss the TSX and the economy of this car.

Ive had my TSX on CL for 2 weeks now with no offers.

it is a 2010 Tech Auto I4 80k certified.

I made the switch from '10 TSX V6 Tech to '12 TL Advance (FWD) the first week of September. Sold my TSX in 3 days through Craigslist. You will love the TL. I had an '05 and an '07 TL before purchasing my '10 TSX. I loved the TSX but always knew I'd come back to the TL. I LOVE my TL. Amazing car. Good luck selling your TSX.

I, of course, have a dissenting opinion. The TL is a nice car but the lack of mpg, huge turning circle and lack of a fold-down rear seat are a dealbreaker for me.

The new IS is a nice car, but if you're thinking to upgrade for space for the family... the IS350 might not a good candidate from a TSX
Maybe a GS350

I like the Lexus GS but I cant seem to find a used one of those. I'm familiar with the TL and I like it.

Now I just need to sell my TSX.

All we need is four more like bids and we can share the car... Maybe a dedicated track for 4 people at $5K each.

Not a bad idea.

Not close. According to Edmunds, a 80k TSX in OKC is about $14k trade in and $17k dealer retail.

In today's market, the savvy private party expects to pay closer to trade-in than retail or private party ($16k)

Consider yourself lucky if you get $15k. A dealer will offer you $12-$13k.

I sold my '10 TSX Tech V6 with 37k miles on it for $23,500. It sold in 3 days from Craigslist. V6 models are quite rare though.

I went from a 2011 TSX to a 2013 TL FWD Advance and I love the TL. I do miss the rear fold down seats on the TSX, though.

The TSX's in OKC on CL are advertised for 20-23k. There aren't very many of them, So I figured a Certified one like mine would get close to that regardless of KBB.

Have the ones on CL sold? At what price?

The price of used cars drops with every day and every mile.

Go to CARMAX and see what they'll give you. That should be a ballpark figure for you.

Carmax has 32 TSX's - including one with 79k miles for $16k

Mine is a year newer and certified... I guess certified is not worth anything to consumers.

certified does not gain me anything on an acura now a BMW i would say yes if it was transferable. but still how many people would wanna pay 20k for a car with 80k on it still not worth that much wont ever be.

Certified is worth something on a low mileage car but has little value on a car nearing the end of the certification period and is well outside the normal warranty period.

You'll need to suck it up that your car isn't worth what you think it is worth.

I pulled it off of CL for now. I may just drive the crap out of this and borrow the Wifes TL when I want something more sporty.
