stuck on attempting to remove underpanel for bumper

i'm trying to swap out my stock fog lights for an hid conversion kit that i got so i'm reading the manual and it tells me to remove 3 clips and then pull down the underbumper. this is the part that is frustrating me as i've removed the clips but cant find a way to remove the bumper to access the bulb. any tips?

If you're doing a conversion, you'll need more room to work with than you would if you were just replacing the bulbs.

I'd just remove the cover in it's entireity, that'll give you ample room for running the wiring & ballasts, etc.

Look at all the clips and bolts holding the lower gravel guard, then there's two 8mm bolts that attach the rear upper corner of the bumper cover to the fender. With a swift tug, you can pop the cover off of the cleats underneath the headlight. If you do it this way, you can 'tilt' the cover forward using the lower bolts as a hinge.

I'm looking forward to the finished product. It rained for like two days straight here and last night I was thinking about the H11/H3 or HID driving light conversion and couldn't see for shyte last night.

I bet that's a huge difference from the halogen's.

For HID conversions, are the HID bulbs you used hotter than the stock bulbs or unshrouded vs the stock ones?
