Spots on chrome window trim
I recently bought a 2010 TSX and on the driver's door there are some spots on the chrome window trim that won't go away. It appears to be overspray from tire shine or Armor All or something. Nothing I tried worked - soap and water, detailing spray, wax. Any suggestions?
Also, is there any way to touch up small imperfections on the chrome front grille? Can it be clayed?
Thanks!

I have used vinegar diluted with some water in an old spray bottle on chrome and chromed plastic. You can play around with the ratio of water to vinegar, but I'd start with 50/50. The more vinegar, the better it works. Spray that on a microfiber cloth and buff it in, then buff dry. Has worked with most spots I've seen.
I have also seen a youtube video of a guy using steel wool on chrome. It worked very well, based on the video, for harder spots. Problem is it sheds tiny steel fibers on your work area that then have to be taken off without scratching the paint.
Good luck.
