Redding out taillights.
So I just got my red film to red my taillights out. I don't like the pink signals haha, but I'm stumped on how to do this. The curves on the signals make it like not lay flat all the way around. So I was thinking would I have to cut 2 different peices so the whole thing would lay flat? Or is there a way to make everything work out?
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

You see me, I CU2
Lots of heating and stretching and shrinking. I watched my tint guy do my head and tail lights he did some voodoo shit to make it work lol. Be very very patient. It may have to come off several times too to make it jus right

lol, please see my post. I talked to defcon about it to see if he have any secrets but nothing.
What you have to do is:
1. Cut a piece that is bigger then the "pink area" then start to trim it little by little so that it fit the area. To get to fit perfectly is a PITA! But you can get it to fit pretty good, you just got to be patient and use a lot of heat.
For the edges, heat up the film and then using your palm or a squeegee and make it go down. Remember using heat is the only way to make the film contour to the edges.
I tried to do mine and it turn out good, but I didn't like how I could get the film to fit the area exactly so I took it off.
Hope this help.

Everyday I'm rofling
I had a real hard time with mine. I couldnt get it it curve around very well, so i just ended up cutting out a section where it bunched up so I have a small seam. Can't see it unless you stand close to the car. I eventually want to redo them, but I am lazy.

Yooo, I have red cut outs. They came in a sheet. Look how nice my lights look! I literally have .5" over each side of the turn signal. It doesn't have to perfect by a long shot. My cuts were not even that smooth. Just get a rough shape and make sure its big enough to cover your pink area. Some helpful hints. get some windex, or soapy water and spray on your tail lights. while its still wet apply your film, the soapy water will allow you to move it easier. get out your gf's hairdryer and start heating. it's easier to get a budyy to hold one end of the vinyl and start stretching it out as it heats. Here is whats cool, a lot of us have problems with it wrinkling, especially at the edges! BUTTTT when you cut a larger piece than you need you can literally cut the wrinkles out because your pink/white part of the light is still covered up. Hope this helps you guys.

^^You can't even tell that my vinyl overlaps with the original red of my tail lights.

just cut out a square to cover the turn signals. then trace/cut away the shape of the clear turnsignal.
cut it where it angles. so when you see an air pocket on that angle, just make a small incision. then it will go down. you cant really tell unless youre super close
here's pics of my 13' SE and i even did the BMW reverse taillights. im awesome. ::

Sooo I did mine this afternoon. Wasn't supposed to be as hard as I made it, but after doing one side the other side was a breeze. It was hard to heat up the vinyl and stretch it at the same time with only two hands haha, so I got pissed and was like fuck it ima cut two different pieces. Made it so much easier. its not even noticeable unless youre like staring hard... Took longer than I thought it would, I kept messing up!

looks good though! idk what ima do about the reverse lights. Probably just leave it the way it is lol.

dude wtf?? Those stickers are awesome! I would have put it on the first day, it makes your car identifiable. If there were any Aziners to see your car they wouldn't have to guess, they would know you are part of the brotherhood. I was very upset I was never initiated. However, the Acurazine stickers I got for Xmas somewhat filled that void for me.
