RealTime Acura racing team at Petit le Mans

I spent the last week at Road Atlanta camping for Petit le Mans. Accuratein posted a thread in the Car Talk section, tons of pictures. One of which is my "Big Nasty" TSX in the infield. I added this AM some pictures of the 2nd Gen TSX's that Realtime was running. Check it out.

Nice pics, there are some good ideas for people looking to maximize their TSX's performance (i.e. light Enkei wheels).

I believe they just carried over the 1G TSX engine over to the 2G TSX since they had so much development in the 1G engine already. Check out Vehicle Tech Specs:

Part number for the head is for the '04-'07's

Thats so...dissapointing in a way, so in a way this engine wont be done proper justice til shops and teams get their hands on the new SI......sigh*

Where did the TSX finish in it's class?

Yea, i think they used the older engine because it has a header instead of having it integrated into the head. Good for emissions, bad for performance.

Its hard for the TSX to compete now under the new rules...it goes up against 2008+ mustangs and new camaros...and caymans and others its a miracle the thing places in the top 5 consistently

Esayian got a 5th place finish in the race and Cunningham pulled in at 11th. Like Vortex said, it is tough to see them racing some of these other cars.

Yeah, they dominated the series last year. SCCA does try to get everyone on a level playing field, but there's no replacement for displacement lol. What the TSX lacks in power, it makes up in handling, but I think most of the tracks they ran this season catered to the more powerful engines. Cunningham did win one race this season.

Their shop is in the Milwaukee, WI area. I've been trying to find a chance to go up that way from Chicago to check out their shop.

My RC homage:

Team colors, lol:
