Is the radio display supposed to cycle through for stations that support it? Showing the radio station, artist, song name, etc? I swear that when I first got the car it cycled, but now it seems to be frozen no matter what station I turn it to.

Has anyone else's frozen up or does it continue to cycle?

I noticed when a new song comes on it displays the artist and title then reverts to the station frequency.

Mine won't even do that, it just never changes.

It's got to be a settings...thing in the stereo menu.

I don't see why it would be. One of the stations is frozen on the artist. It permanently says "Skynyrd".

I would try disconnecting my ground cable for a few minutes and see if it will reset after entering your code.

I thought about doing that but I didn't want to reset everything in the car if I didn't have to. Would be a major pain in the ass to have to reprogram my seat memory buttons, audio settings, voice commands, etc. Was hoping there might be a way around disconnecting the battery and resetting the system.

Depends what you are listening too.

For FM radio w/RDS (RBDS), the information will scroll all the time.

For AUX with my iPOD, the information will only scroll when a song ends and a new song starts.

For SAT radio, the information scrolls for new songs on certain SAT stations. But most of the time does not scroll for me.

I knew all this. Mine works properly with the iPod integration, but the FM radio never changes for any station. It's always stuck on whatever it was last on when it "froze".

Guess I'll just take it to the dealer to get fixed.

Did you try just pulling the fuse on the radio to reset, that way you do not have to reset everything else?
