What is going to wear off?
That is just the raw metal that was under the paint. Polished to that shine. It took a long time to get them that way

Three Wheelin'
Those look great on your Accord...if I had an Accord and was looking for an inexpensive swap, that would be the one...nice job.
And yes, nice garage
I've been actually thinking about going the polished route myself...what kind of upkeep (i.e. how often) are we talking about here? Sounds like it's easier to just clear coat after polishing...

(You may be the only person to wash your car, but general upkeep is tenfold worse with polished non-cleared parts.)
Side note: I had a customer once who wanted to polish his GSR engine while hanging on a cherry picker. He came up to the shop with sandpaper and steel wool and expected to take "an afternoon" polishing the block and head by hand.

I am on the fence, might be selling them
Up keep has not been bad. I always wash the car myself so, no chance of anyone doing too much damage.

The time has come and they still look just as good. Going to be selling them in a few weeks. I have purchased chrome Acura caps to replace the Honda. So keep your eye out in the black market!!
