Why?
cause after renting A3 (from zipcar) and V8 mustang and 328 xdrive (from hertz) with extensive drive time in all three i liked the TSX the most.
clearly i am way in the minority.
unlike many of the pro reviewers i like the steering feel much better than the a3 and mustang. Bimmer of course wins in that category but for me the package counts. I did push in in corners today and it plows like a fwd when you come in but for most of myndrive and quck changing curves it was flickable and mad fun.
when i took home it ran very rough over some roads and i thought oh shit!! but with extensive drive time today it is a gem. some rough spots are felt very much but on really smooth roads and relatively good roads it feels great.
learned alot on this board. thx.
i am addicted to the I4 snarl.

I drove the new A4 and I also like the TSX better. Haven't driven a new 328, but I just can't commit to owning a beemer, though I've wanted one for years. Push in corners -- I actually think the thing handles damn well for a FWD car out of the box. Most new cars will push. I'm pretty sure the stock alignment has around 0 degrees of camber in the front, and something negative in the back -- setting the front to be more negative than the rear will help alot. The car rides fairly firm, but I find it very comfortable (though sporty) after living with a Subaru for 5 years. Double wishbone ftw. Steering feel is very nice IMO. I also love the seats and ability to adjust the driver's position, I have long legs and just can't get comfortable in some cars but this one works well for me.
Enjoy the car, I've been loving mine for 5,500 miles now, and that's since early July.

Welcome to the forum! You will not be disappointed with this purchase. This car is so much fun to drive. Go find a windy mountain road, and you will understand.
The TSX is the perfect balance. It is comfortable but sporty. It is economical but upscale. It is ordinary but extraordinary. This car is just the right amount of anything! I could keep going, but you get it!
Enjoy!

thx guys!
the most amazing thing is u forget this is fwd unless u push in a corner hard.
my recent two cars that i sold were Cayman base and RX8 - R 3 version(track version).
i dont think its a stretch to say two of the best, no- the two best handling cars in the world. but not just that- the steering feel was PERFECT. I sold the Mazda for practical reasons an sold the Cayman because it was out of warranty.
Prior to that i had two 8th gen civic si. prior to that sti, tt supra, a bunch of crossovers, old 3 series, tl (1g) and g37s .
im getting old and needed a combo of sport and sedan.
i also picked up a 2012 civic si so now i have 2.4 engine 24/7!!
because of bad hips and knees i cant drive stick so i need an automatic for daily use.
the only other car i would add again to my collection would be cayman again.
other than that totally love the coarse, loud, nasty I4 from Honda!

Porsche's PDK is an unbelievable piece of technology! Have your cake and eat it too and get a Cayman with a PDK. Originally Posted by Good, bad, ugly

Hear you on the getting old...just traded my 8th Gen Si for a TSX Sport Wagon today. Sport mode is good enough for me...feels as spunky as my Si was but I know its not as fast...and I don't care. Another S2k or new Cayman will be in the works in few years after I pay this thing off.
thx again!
bought it with 2 miles on wed and now with 1,000 miles. absolute pleasure to drive.
