Opinions of window trim

Very soon after I got my car, I vinyled the window trim along with the chrome bar on the trunk. After about 3 months of it looking like this, I am questioning whether or not I want it black anymore. I am going back and forth so much mainly because it took so many hours of putting it on, and I'm very indecisive. What are you guys' opinions on it? Do you think it makes the car look too plain being black? (sorry about the quality, I need to get a real camera one of these days)

It doesn't look bad, but I think it'd look better if you had a black car.

Personally I like it, looks more like a 1G TSX as well. 1 can argue that it cheapens the look of the car but you seem to have a theme here because if I am not mistaken those tails are tinted too. It all works together per say. I don't like the chrome trim on the TSX but its a personal thing. I have to figure out what to do with my trim as well lol.

I say take it off; the chrome adds a nice contrast that really doesn't cheapen the look of the car. the only thing is the chrome trunk bar...needs ta go! LOL

On black or dark coloured cars its ok in dark or chrome. On my PXP i like it more in black. Here is a pic where you can see the front Vinyled in black and the backdoor is still chrome.

idk why, but you know what i think might look really cool? if you have the B pillar white, with the chrome black. might provide a very nice contrast. very easy and cheap to do too

Thanx, PyroDave, great idea!!!
I searched for a vinyl in PWP colour, to do my doorhandles. If I could find one then I would try the B-Pillar too. But all white vinyls I have seen till now dont match the PWP, not even nearly!

Plasti dip in white its pure white I think, it wouldnt match my PWP, or has someone experince with this? All I ever see on Azine was Plasti dipped in BLACK!

the handles will be a bitch to do either way, so idk about those, but i can give you a trick about the B-pillar. its factory vinyl'ed you should have PWP underneathe the black, you just have to peel the black off. i saw it on here somewhere, i'll try to see if i can peek under the vinyl and take a pic for you on my VBP

@ op - darker cars need some contrast, looks cheesy the way it is now, i vote no-plastidip

@hondo - you can get PWP spray paint in cans from dealership, then you can plastidip your B-pillars, and then spraypaint the plastidip, should work fine, AND you can remove it if you dont like it

Hmm, I'm leaning towards taking it off now. Looking at some darker colors, mainly CBP, I am liking the chrome a little more. I won't be making the trunk bar chrome again though. I am either going to keep it vinyled, or just take it off. Hopefully it all comes off alright and doesn't peel anything!

I´m not sure it will look that good with white B-pillar anymore. Looked at some pics and with my windows vinyled in black and the black window trim, the white will look misplaced?

OP: I say take it off unless you can black out or color match the door handles too.

I like the chrome, the black makes the car look dull and plain.
