I've had my 09' TSX since last April and have only put about 4000 miles on it. (Commute is to work and home) My oil life is at 40% right now and I'm thinking about going to L.A. for vacation before I start heading off to school again. Should I go to the dealership to change my oil now? or am I going to be fine after my trip. I'm going to be driving from the S.F. area.

 

Your car is less than 9 months old, just change the oil after the trip.

Normally, you should change the oil at least once a year irregardless of mileage.
