What's up guys, I've been lurking around the forums for a bit so decided I'd finally make a post. I just bought a new 2013 TSX SE in Bellanova White Pearl almost 2 months ago.

Had the dealer put on the trunk lip too but don't have any pics of that yet.

Looks good EXCEPT that plate mount.

On my 12 the plate is mounted to lower grille as was designed by Honda.


Why the dark do they take the simple way out anfvdrill the bumper UGH

the lower grille is only the mount for the lower bolts of the bracket
the top bolts get drilled through the bumper

my dealer does this when the prep the car

on my wagon, i made it clear, if they drilled through the bumper, the sale was off

I can tell you my front plate was mounted as i bought drove iff the lot but only using the 2 bolts inn lower grill. No need to make holes in bumper.

depends on the state and if front plates are required

the dealers here get the car in, prep it, and drill that front plate on

I told the dealer that was wrong, as some people dont want holes in their cars and he said I was the only person to ever complain

i asked the dealer not to drill holes in the bumper but they said the plate was already mounted when they got the car on the lot. i checked and its held on by the 2 bolts in the lower grill as well as the top bolts that were drilled into the bumper....oh well lol might do something about it later on

yea i was pleasantly surprised when i found that my license plate was only held on by the lower part of the plate. the top part isn't drilled. thought about moving it to the bottom grille but ed_6969 said his scratched the fuck out of his paint when it was down there and it didn't quite fit well
