ive emailed them about selling just a rear lip. theyre only selling them as full kits. also i asked them for more pictures of the type s kit since theyre using a generic picture. they completely avoided that question. i have a strong feeling their kits arent even in stock and will be drop shipped from a resource i know of from china.
someone else ask for more pics. im curious to see what pictures they use.

yeah like Defcon said I'd be kinda skeptical since they're using a stock pic instead of their own images.
On the other hand, they've got a decent ebay rating.
I'm curious but I'd definitely not want to be the guinea pig

Yeah I saw that ebay listing a day ago and I felt a bit weird about it. I got ripped off once on ebay buying a body kit back in 2003. Anyway, what do you guys think of this TSX A-Spec Underbody? Has anyone ever bought stuff from them? I'm interested in either the A-Spec or the Mugen 3-piece spoiler kit from Nengun. I like to hear some of your opinions

^ oh wow thats a nice ebay find! i'm on it like almost everyday for parts and i've never seen that listing and thats the cheapest i've seen it go for.
but anyways i did ask them for pictures of the rear lip and they did send it to me. they told me they've never seen a replica kit that was so well prepared, with hardware and 3m tape.
i'm not so sure about the fitment though.
great thing i found a local manufacturer that sold me the kit and deck lip spoiler for $450!

bayson r motorsports. i think they only had 1 kit though, they told me they were the manufacturer that sold the kit to dealerships in asia.
i remember you posting up a link of some site selling the kit, but you wouldn't buy it cause shipping was too expensive. he had the same pictures of the kit on a tsx as the one that was on that site, so it seemed reasonable.

yeah its not on their site, i originally asked them about their deck lid spoiler that they posted on ebay, and i noticed that their picture of the tsx had a rear lip so i asked them about it. turns out they had a whole lip kit so i bought it.

Their reviews seem positive. Post pics when you get the kit! I'm pretty sure you're just getting the rear skirt only (not the full rear bumper like on the OEM type-S kit). I'm really curious about the fitment on this one.

Actually that's what I meant. The rear piece they sent you is only a skirt. The true OEM Type S rear piece is a full bumper replacement.
Looks amazing though and for that price I'm definitely considering. Looking forward to seeing pics once the whole thing is done and installed.
^^haha defcon I just read your post--I might be interested in a groupbuy too after I see the final pics and get a better idea of the fitment.

i talked to paul and theres no more in stock. they get their kits from overseas. it'll take a few weeks to get more in stock. they dont have any pricing on these yet except for the $450 that rawesome paid for. not sure if theyll jack it up or not. hopefully they dont because thats a good price

hey dude, is your decklid spoiler the a-spec one or is it the oversea's type? I'm about to purchase a full aero body kit for 1600-painted, but this seems more appropriate. just wondering though before i drop 1600![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

haha seems like a lot of you guys are interested in this kit, i'm pretty sure the ebay kit is the exact same as this, just in primered white, and the price went down! so if you guys do want a similar lip kit, i'm sure the ebay one is just the same, maybe even better fitment.
this is what they messaged me because i was going to buy the kit before getting this one, "BTW these kits come with ALL the mounting hardware, and tape, are fully primered, and each piece is sealed in a plastic bag (I`m never seen non-oem parts take so much care) and they include wipes to prep the surface of your car before taping. I been in the business a long time and its pretty impressive for a kit to have all that."
the place i received it at told me what i got was just a prototype, so i guess i'm the first.
and the decklid spoiler i'm pretty sure it's just the oem upgrade one? i'm not really fond of how it was made, but the already painted ebay one's seem more promising, they're only about $130 shipped.

+1, 450 is a GREAT price. i'd def. get it, like defcon said thouhg, hope they dont jack up the price...
and although the rear is not a full bumper replacement, i think it still looks pretty damn good lol.
are those two holes on the rear lip for reflectors? are they just gonna take out ur oem ones and replace it there?

this rear add on lip looks a lot more aggressive and beefier than the full replacement type s bumper.
reminds me of the m3 and m5 rear
yea youd have to probably uninstall the reflectors and reinstall them. probably would be a good time to add led strips in the back of it

haha red LED strips is my plan! and yes those holes are for your oem reflectors
i'm going to get it painted and installing it myself. its only primered right now that's why it doesn't match, but i'm trying to get the sideskirts to fit better before painting the kit.

Wow Rawesome, that's an incredible find. What you paid for the whole kit is what I paid for the painted OEM front skirt.
The rear lips definitely make the car looks more aggressive, can't wait to see you painted and installed them.

thanks for all the comments guys, i'll definitely post up pictures of the finished product, i just need to modify the side skirts before painting them, hopefully i'll be done in a week or so!

^^ I kinda had a feeling you'd do that, Def.
For $550 plus $200 ship to Canada I'm definitely thinking about it. Researching prices for paint though and now we're getting into the $1300-$1600 range after everything's done. Almost more worth it to just pony up and pay the $2400 to get OEM pre-painted from speedstar.

You are right about painting cost, once you factor in OEM parts comes pre-painted, the difference in price close considerably, but still be close to $1000 difference.

yeah I have to admit I'm going back and forth on this one, tech. $1k is a lot of change but I'll bet there's a big difference in fitment between OEM and aftermarket knock-off.
This mod will probably have to wait till next season. Hopefully by then there'll be a canadian vendor for this kit so I can save on shipping.
