New 2010 TSX price?
There seems to be tons of new 2010s in the northeast but, I'm getting wildly different price quotes.
Are there different incentives depending on the dealer?
Are there hidden incentives?
Are there special rates from Honda?

since theyll be new leftovers you should be shooting for about 29k on tech models. im pretty sure i paid about 30,300 OTD on my 09 at year's end

curious why Acura still have that many 2010 TSX leftover.. was it that bad no one buy it last year? It's already end of Feb.
Toronto offered a $7000 CAD discount on all models earlier but I believe it is all gone now.

Not sure how $7K CAD equates to USD but, dealers in the NE still have dozens of 2010s.
If they only discount $1-2K more than '11s they'll have trouble moving them, IMO.
Depreciation alone on a '10 is minimum $5K once you drive off the lot!

USD and CAD are at par right now. Canadian MSRP for a 5AT Tech model is C$41K (compare to US$33K down south), so the $7K discount in Canada for 2010 model is not a complete surprise.

Even with the $7000 cash incentive, a 2010 5AT Tech model OTD price will be $37k here in Canada, which I was quoted last month. $30k US for the tech model is a steal in the States.....
So I ended up with a 2010 base 5AT (cloth seat) for $30,750 CDN......Canadians always pay more in terms of car....

^ Agreed with you there. They did somewhat adjusted the pricing in 2011, a 5AT Tech model now has a MSRP of C$37,990 vs 2010 price of C$40,990, but still does not compare well with US price of US$32,710. At least it's not an $8K difference, but $5K. However, US charges only US$860 for freight whereas Canada charges C$1,895. They charge a $1300 premium on 5AT model vs 6MT.
Luckily for me in 2008, they did offer 6MT Tech (discontinued for 2011-5AT only for Tech model in Canada) and the dealer has to earn the freight because it cost them $700 to put my CBP 6MT Tech model (only two in Western Canada at the time) on a flatbed from neighbouring province of Alberta to British Columbia. That car was already PDI and sitting in the brand new showroom in Red Deer, AB.

Yeah, that's crazy if Honda (and/or the dealers) are not providing substantial discounts on the leftovers. Gees, 6 months from now they'll be 2 years (model years) old. Honda evidently was way too optimistic about how many TSX's they thought they could move. I wonder if they expected and/or think that guys like me will finally accept the new look and renew or come back (sorry..... never gonna happen).

Our system up North is far from perfect. Some treatments (elective surgery) can take 6-9 months. The difference is universal coverage, no one is denied due to pre-existing condition and in BC, our medical premium for family is $121 per month, low income family paid nothing. Like most developed nations, however, we are facing the coming wave of baby boomers which will really strain the system.

I bought a brand new leftover 2010 TSX Base a week ago. Before I decided on the 2010, I got a quote from a 3 dealers for a 2011 TSX Base and they were between $2,000 and $2,500 more that what I paid for the 2010. If you go to Edmunds.com and appraise both a 2006 and 2007 TSX with 90,000 miles, you'll see that the difference in value in about $2,000. My point is that if you sell your 2010 TSX after 5 years and use the 2006 and 2007 TSX appraisals as a guide, you will likely get $2000 less when you sell it. Since you will probably pay $2,000 less up front for the 2010, you can argue that it doesn’t matter if you buy a 2010 or 2011.

Hmm I got my V6 at the beginning of December. IIRC, i was getting a $6500 cash incentive. Came out to something under 37k OTD; mind you I only have the 5% tax =(
Honda of Canada gives out these large incentives at year end b/c as stated...our cars are basically grossly overpriced to begin with.
And there is a $2500 incentive year round if you pay with cash to begin with.

Might not apply, but the best offer I could get for a 2010 Tech over the past couple weeks was 28k before taxes/fees. Didn't think it was a big enough discount to take the leftover.

While I didn't steal my TSX like some of you have, I think I got a pretty good deal. I bought my 2010 TSX Tech with the 4 cylinder and automatic transmission for $29.8k otd. My understanding is that there's something like $1,500.00 dealer cash available, which is okay, but the real kicker is the financing. The sole reason I bought my TSX was the 0.9% financing for 60 months through the Honda financing branch. Paying about $740 in interest over a 5 year loan is pretty nice. It feels good to know a majority of your payment is going to principal only. Funny thing is, I was looking at used cars priced in the low to mid 20s and if I had bought one of those, I would've paid about as much with the 5.5% interest I was offered!

While this is my first Acura
this definately not my first rodeo, I got my '10, I4, no tech, auto for $25,950 and I thought a very good trade in on my '08 Civic Si 4dr ($14,300) with 55k on the clock. Since i paid cash for the Si, the almost non exsistant APR from Honda, made financing worth it for a couple of years.

I've sent 26k to two dealers for a 2010 w/tech to start with. Let's see where it settles. .9% financing is plenty incentive for me - but only a 2/3k difference from a 2011 is not worth it.

So the dealerships are still offering 0.9% interest on the loans? I thought they stopped that on 2/28...
