Need help confirming a part - engine splash guard

Took my 2009 TSX in for routine maintenance and the shop told me I needed to get a replacement engine splash cover as the current one on my car had been zip-tied and they refused to re-mount it. Sounds like a previous body shop broke the part during an oil change and decided not to tell me about it and instead opted to lazily zip-tie it.

I've attached a few pictures showing the part and was hoping someone could confirm whether this replacement part (74110TL2A00) is overkill. I believe I just need the smaller metal plate which is likely much cheaper, but I can't find it sold separately anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had to order the whole thing. $530 IIRC.

Yep, have to buy the entire assembly as one part/part number. Found one on ebay for ~$300 last year, others a bit more on Amazon, etc. Shipping is oversized, so factor in the shipping cost, too.

Most used pieces will be damaged, torn, etc., so probably a case where it's better to bite the bullet and get a new one.

FWIW, I installed the shield I purchased last year on my '11 SportWagon, and it took 15 minutes tops. I had all of the push clips ready to go, and I made sure to remove the six Phillips head machine screws (which were surprisingly tight), lube the threads with anti- sieze compound, then reinstall them, before installing the shield for good.
