My friend just got an 09, what I saw

Well, I saw a ton of room in the engine compartment behind the motor, and I saw a massive void in the subframe between the rear wheels.

These two facts provide me with an overwhelming sense that the RDX powertrain will make its way into a future version of the TSX. Fact, no. Highly possible, yes.

The suspension is much different from the outgoing TSX. I am not sure that any of the bracing or components from an 04-08 will transfer over. Some maybe but I would not count on it.

I loved the interior too.

We are also getting ready to order JDM parts for this car so if you have any requests let me know!

I read the bigger engine compartment was due to the diesel engines, particularly for the Euro Accord, which the US TSX actually is. and the TSX will get the diesel in a year or 2.

I noticed that too. Just by comparing the two exteriors it's obvious that the height of the hood is alot higher on the 09, which means that there's alot more room in the engine bay. I think with a few exterior mods, the 09 will look just as good as the 1st gens.

There has been a lot of hinting from Honda that a V6 (not a turbo) will eventually make its way to the TSX.
