Main control panel
Main control panel
The one that has the tach and speedmeter, it kinda looks like one from mercedes, the floating needle, also i notices that all the messages and reminders look very pixle like, and its even worse in the TL, when i compared it to likes of a lexus, its looks very poor, but a4 and vw cc have the same thing, they panels looks just as pixle like just diff colors.Maybe cause im not used to this, never had a car with a panel like this, but now that i almost decided on the tsx its just pops out for me/
sorry guys, english isnt ma strongest point, my question was supposed to be, is the speedodometer copied from mercedes(floating needle) n is the display so pixeled in every car or is it just in acuras?
It's not copied from Mercedes, many brands have similar displays. The TSX display is a lot nicer than some lower end displays, but some high end vehicles obviously have even nicer ones. My wife's '08 Ford Escape's display is just a green and black LCD screen, so the TSX's is a lot nicer. However some cars (S-Class, etc.) have full color displays available.
The TSX gauge cluster is nothing like the Mercedes. Not sure where that sentiment is coming from. My shopping list included the MB C300, BMW 328, Audi A4, and Lexus IS. The TSX gauges and dispays were as nice or nicer than all of them. I didn't like the Germans' gauges and displays at all, especially the ones lighted in red at night. The IS and TSX ones were the most attractive to my eyes. I actually once had a woman in my car comment how pretty the TSX gauges were at night. That's not a compliment you hear very often.
