Looking for Vortex Blue Owners

I picked up an 11 VBP Tech over the winter, and am finally ready to start with some simple modding. I need to keep it fairly conservative for my line of work, and am kinda stuck when it comes to choosing wheels. I'm looking for ideas, and was hoping that some of the regular contributors could chime in.. maybe help build a list of the other blue 2Gs that are out there. I rep a metro area, which means tons of mileage on mostly crappy city/local roads, and am very hesitant on lowering it. Just looking to see who's rollin' around on what, and trying to figure out what will/will not work for my lifestyle and driving conditions. Thanks, guys.

If you're looking for a clean simple look; I always liked Maiku's VTB... I was on the same boat as you I am an accounting consultant and needed to keep my car simple and classy... but a drop is necessary check out some springs that will give you an inch drop... if you dont want to drop keep it stock!

His ROnJON rims!!

and his Aspec Rims

Hey, thanks guys.. I appreciate you chiming-in and posting those pics. They all look really, really nice.. pride/appreciation of ownership is definitely shining through! I really want to go about this the right way, but have to be practical about it, as well. So, let's say that lowering is out of the question. What am I now (realistically) looking at being able to do size-wise??
Lol... this all started with tint.

honestly wheels with out lowering is horrible if you look through my build tread you can see mine before i lowered it hence why im running meaty tires the gap was very bad looking.

Thanks, odus. I checked out your build thread, and yeah- I know you're what you're sayin'. I just can't help but being a bit paranoid when I think of lowering, especially with our shitty roads, and the amount of mileage I put on. Something to think about, I guess. Btw.. looking good.

Gawd.. these are gorgeous. Anybody know of any quality look-a-likes?? I just hate the fact that these are only available through one source. Thanks.

Hey, thanks for the thought, apin. Unfortunately, Maiku's wheels are a little bigger than the Lineas that I posted. I was originally thinking of going with something closer to what Odus is rolling, then saw those Corse Lemans and fell in love. As soon as I mention that, I go back and look at O's pics again, and now me so confused lol...

Going with 18's. Would like to go a bit bigger (for aesthetics), but I drive way too much. Saw some Enkeis that were kinda close to the Lineas, but they didn't have that little "something-special" that I got from those Corse Lemans. Love what you're running, too.. really nice look.

OP my wheels are linea corse and have been amazing and there super light compared to the stock 17's. bmw guys and lexus guys usually run the linea wheels and have not had any problems. I have had mine for little over half a year and still love them.

Wow.. decisions, decisions lol. I really appreciate the feedback, too. I drive 28k-36k a year (all city/local), so 19's have never even been a thought. Then I start hanging around here, and now I'm trying to justify it lol. Seriously, though.. I'll probably end up with the 18's, but Odus' wheels are more my style. I'm taking my time, as Spring has been slow to arrive. Getting anxious, though...

Anybody have any history with Privat Rivales? I like the look, which Has been tough to find in 18's within the brands/price range I'm sticking with.
