I have a 2010 tsx it's white with cream interior and I'm in the market for some window tints. I know a lot of you have them and I thought it would be a good idea to see what percentage I want based off of your pics, soo let's see them. (if you could add the percentage that would be awesome too). Thanks in advance.

 

5% on the rear windshield + rear windows;15% on the front.

 

Front: 23%
Rear: 17%

 

NC state legal limit, 35% all around.

 

10% all around 40% on the windsheild

 

I was thinking something that would almost stock during the day but really noticeable at night. What percentage do you think that would be? 40? 50?

to stay fairly stock, i say 35-50. maybe even 70, but thats too light IMO

 

Yeah I havent been on this site for 15 days. haha i've only had my tsx for 4 days I was thinking about huper optiks or pinnacle at 50% but don't know if that's gonna be too light. Are your tints ceramic?

and keep in mind, if you have dark interior, it makes a BIG difference compared to light interior

 

after market tint that matches best with factory tint is 20%

Really?.. on the spec sheet, it does say it's tinted.. to how much %, I don't know..
I'm also interested in tinting my car windows more once I pick up the car.

 

The guy at the tint place I went to had a meter, it read 71 on my rear driver side window.

I got my tints done though, Formula one Pinnacle 50. I'll take some pics with my cell phone today. (If it's not raining)

 

It might be a very minute amount. If what the above poster said was at 71%, that's almost nothing.

20% sure does not match any factory tint on this car, except for SUVs that typically have darker factory tint on the rear windows.

 

hey guys, what tint works best for this car? I've heard there are some metallic ones or ceramic ones? if what DerwoodEE is saying is correct and that the factory only comes with the ~71% tint, then that's almost nothing at all..

yea but its so boss lol.

at night its kinda hard to see out the rear windshield..its a minor inconvenience.

thats what i meant "technicaly" all glass has tint to it very light not noticable because if you put 20 % tint on a clear glass with not after market tint on it and meter it, it come out to 16% tinted, i dont know how stock tinted suv windows meter out to exactly but when customers ask me to match the front windows with the rear windows on a suv i do 20% and matches perfectly
