Hey Guys

i have a vector blue 09 TSX with Ebony interior and am thinking of getting the windows tinted because the car will just be an oven when parked in the sun.

I have no clue about tints and their types and all.

can anyone recommend the type of tint and how dark to get?

want it to be legal in CA to avoid cops. i'm already on their radar with my driving habits

you can get up to 5% (limo) tints in the back windows and rear windshield but the driver and passanger side windows have to be stock. your car already comes with 75% i believe and that's the limit for the front windows.

CA tint laws suck.

i did 20 all around on mine. and just roll the windows down when i see the cops lol.


oh and for tints i'd recommend getting 3M

Fronts cannot have ANY tint on them. Rear windows/windshield is up to you. If you have navi, make sure you get ceramic tint.

wow that sucks. it doesnt even feel like theres any, i was thinking of tinting the front iether 50 or 35. but i guess that would be illegal.....OH WELL!

I had the tint shop put the UV filter on my fronts, cant see it but it is supposed to help with the heat and the fading from the sun. That tint shop won't do illegal tints in the front

bahaha when i got pulled over for tints the cop says

"look son i know your new car looks very cool with tints... but you need to be able to make eye contact at stop signs"


a bunch of bs! you cant even see someones eyes at a stop sign. thats why you have the ability to flash ur high beams if need be.
