KowloonSniperHK's Progress Thread

Decided to finally make a progress thread since I've made so many threads on just my pictures.

My first car

Then I got this

Then sister wanted the car, so bought my 09 TSX back in Dec 08

Three days later, tints 28 Front/20 Rear

My first 100!

1.5 months later
3K HID fogs. LED interior. Wing Spoiler

A month later
Nokya Artic White High Beam bulbs

Another month later in April 09
Progress RSB

Some dynos I had when I attempted in a baseline dyno. fail
Wasn't successful since VSA kept kicking in

Sometime in May
Tinted overlays for tail lights

Sometime in June/July and months of saving money
My 18" Enkei RAZRs

Still riding 4x4

S-techs on probably in September 09

407 UCF Knights TSX crew

Shots during the semester

March 2010
DIY Cleared Headlights

Eww Stock turn signal bulbs

April 2010
VLED V2 Switchback LED Turn Signals

September 2010
3M Di-noc Grille and Interior center

December 2010
Paintmatched grille
Hawk HPS Front/Rear Brake Pads

Fast forward to 2011
Jan 2011
Ichiba V2 15mm spacers for the rear at the moment
DIY painted calipers black
Also got new tires Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 235/40/18, a lot softer than the Falken 912 which I had in 225/45/18

Feb 2011
Experimented with plasti-dip
Plasti-dipped one side of my car-window trim, door handles and rims
Had them on for about a month with no problems
Wanted to see how I like the murdered out look

And as of March 2011
Removed the Plasti-dip. Nothing has changed
Pictures as of a recent Acurazine meet we had in SoFL

Things I plan to get relatively soon since I just got accepted into Nursing school and don't know when I will be able mess with my car...

>Hi-Power Reverse LEDs (bought when VLEDs had for 5 minutes 50% off their products, but I shipped it to my old college apartment, got it shipped back to the warehouse and now waiting to ship it back to my proper address. Fail on me)
>Ingalls Camber Kit (still waiting if it is released yet since it was announced. seriously need these though)
>20mm Ichiba V2 Spacers (putting these in the rear and moving the 15mm to the front)

My wish list
>P2R Ported Intake Runners
>P2R Throttle Body Spacer with Intake Manifold Gasket
>XLR8 Down pipe (whenever it is in production)
>Injen CAI in Black
>Tein SS coils
>BBK
>JDM Front lip, also seeing if the ron jon splitter concept comes to fruition

And then my "yea if i had more disposable income after getting a real career"
Turbo?
Electric car haha

Dman man, good write up! I gotta admit I love your car though. One of my favorites on the forum. It was fun going through your car chronicles haha!

When I saw that you had a 1st Gen after you wrecked your first car, I was kinda expecting a totaled 1g TSX...glad I didn't see one!

I did forget to mention my 6k low beam HIDs lol

Yea don't even remember when I put the sticker on. Didn't want it on the outside since I didn't want it to look rice.

Yea it took me 4 years. graduated with a political science degree to realize I want to be a nurse (a big reason is that I wasn't able to find a decent job) So currently finishing up all my science prereqs

hey ed, nothing wrong on being a murse. All my friends say that I should go Ducati shopping haha

consider PA. I would consider it if I was still a freshmen in college. Plus Im not that great at the sciences. well the harder ones like what PA prereqs are. My plan is to go through this. Pass the NCLEX. Get my license. Try to get a direct commission for the AF/Army. Still debating.

Man! those rolling shots are the end are super nice. The side view of your front end is just so sick with them clear corners.

Nice car! You said you were getting 20mm spacers for the rear and moving the 15's up front. Did you have 15's all the way around before or just in the rear?

nice car and I love the smoothness to the overall look to it!

random question to everyone, what does it mean to "clear the headlights".. I noticed some of you guys doing it or intending to do it, what do you have to do and what is the effect of it afterwards?

Clear the headlights means taking out the amber portion of the side markers and replacing them with clear ones. There's different ways of doing this but I too am curious as to which way you did it. I like your rims too. Also, love the progression of your car. I'm glad you took off the plasti-dip from your rims...IMO it looks better like that. Keep them updates coming when you can.

I only had 15mm in the rear. I am getting the Ingalls camber kit so I push the rear wheels to sit flush.

Kowlooon, thanks for sharing, it makes it easier for me to copy! You what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Good luck with the nursing, my wife will be done with her BSN in May '12, then wanted to start with her CRNP, completely online through WVU and only and addtional 4 semsemters. I hope my sugar mama comes through so i can start some serious modding. LOL

About $130 shipped from an ebay dealer. Even with stock height, it'll make the stance of the car look better. Im from West Boca but Im all over SoFL anyways lol

Finally had the motivation to wash, clay, compound, polish, wax my car. Also Lexol clean and condition my leather, since it gets kinda dirty from my dog. Took me a good 5 hours. Im seriously considering getting a buffer. I'm getting too lazy for this.

Enjoy

I see you removed your taillight tint. Car looks great as usual and your dog looks pretty awesome. I drive my dog around in my TSX all the time as well. You should find some new places to take pics ahaha

personal preference. it definitely makes it unique thats for sure. Its kinda G but im not sure if thats what you were goin for. Regardless, the rest of the ride looks gorgeous and is perfectly classy and dark.

Most people when they go for a murdered out look usually cross that fine line between classy and trashy but you handled it well, those rims are sweet and set off the car for sure
